Aoife Uí Leathlaobhair was the President of Kirlawa for two terms between 2498 and 2505. Uí Leathlaobhair was the first SLP president to step aside after two terms as per her party's constitution (Ciaran de Galway, the only SLP President before Uí Leathlaobhair, only served one term). Prior to her election, she was given the title of Minister of Finance, and held this title throughout her Presidency.
