Borianoburgo, also known as Boriansbug, is a city in Egelion. It is the capital of Eder Gira.
History[]
Borianoburgo was the ancient capital of Zaresia. With the unification of Egelion, Borianoburgo became the capital city of the province of Eder Gira because of its history and culture.
Geography[]
Borianoburgo is located in the mountains overlooking the sea. The old city center is nested atop Macatra Mount. Located at the East of Eder Gira, near the borders of the Macatra Mount.
Main sights[]
the magnificent Castle of Macatra, located on the highest point of the city, is one of the most beautiful palaces in Egelion. It has been remodeled many times over the centuries and now hosts the Government and the Parliament of Eder Gira.
The Basilica of Saint Pelagros, the Cathedral of the Archdioceses of Borianoburgo, is a fine example of Edergiran Gothic.
Economy[]
Borianoburgo has a long history of commerce, since its times as Republic-state. Today it hosts many corporate centers and the stock Exchange of Eder Gira.
Known primarily for brewing and distilling, banking and insurance and printing and publishing in the p[ast, Borianoburgo's economy is now based mainly on financial services, scientific research higher education, and tourism.

The city is run by a mayor and a city council, as well as the rest of cities. Borianoburgo is the capital of the province of Eder Gira, though it's not the most populous city from Eder Gira.
Education[]
The University of Eder Gira has a satellite campus here. the private Universities of Borinoburgo and Clarecote are located here. Because of this, Borianoburgo also hosts the Royal Academy of Trading and Finance.
Culture[]
Borianoburgo, although capital of Eder Gira, has a mix of Edergiran, Ghadrashi and Egelonian culture. its musical scene is considered among the best in Egelion.
