The Church of Scientology of Terra was founded in Dranland in 2184 and, over following years, hundreds of churches and organisations sprang up due to the popularity of New Theta and the high demand for Scientology services across the country.

In March 2294, all churches of Scientology rebranded under Scientology Life Improvement International or SLI Int as secular organisations, to escape certain governments' antireligious laws; SLI Int later won a High Court appeal in Dranland successfully enabling Scientology to be promoted as a science.
