Delaune University

Delaune University, is an internationally prestigious university located in Delaune, New Kreshar.
It is one of the oldest higher educational institutions in Lourenne. The oldest being the University of St. Domitius.
Delaune University traditionally focuses on undergraduate education, but it has increased its focus on graduate education and offers a large number of professional Master's degrees and PhD programs in a range of subjects.

Founded by a man named Gérard Millerand in 1902, it was originally a religious school. Presently, it's buildings and architecture still reflect this, although the more modern buildings and amenities have made this sparse.
It was originally a university that only men could apply to, however, in 2223, a woman named Marie Menceau was admitted to the university after the dusty, austere body of admission at the school was overturned. She graduated with a law degree.

The university currently has 3,958 undergraduates, 1,304 graduates and an alumni list that reachs into the millions. The current President of the University is Jean Halmé.
There are two campuses, one in central Delaune and one nearer to the outskirts. The University has 54 buildings at it's disposal.
It's motto, Per ardua ad astra, means "Through effort to the stars"
