Democratic Reform Party
From Particracy Wiki
The Democratic Reform Party was a political party in the Free Union of Kirlawa. They broadly advocated a Christian democratic stance. Until 2342 the DRP was a part of the RPP, but after a split changed its name. Support is largely derived from the Protestant community within Kirlawa, although the DRP is not as sectarian as the former RPP, and allows members of other faiths to join the party.
[edit] Representation
As of June 2344, the Party was represented at local and national level within the Free Union of Kirlawa. They contested the October 2341 elections as the Reformed Political Party, winning five seats in the House of Representatives and on Senator. However in the fall of 2342, three of their Representatives left the party to join the Artanian Socialists. The remaining members together formed the Democratic Reform Party.
The party was strong at first, winning control of four councils along the Bible Belt in 2343, but support dropped off quickly and shortly after André Rouvoet resigned in 2361, the party disbanded itself.
