[edit] ERAK Machinerie

ERAK Machinerie is the oldest part of ERAK industries still in operation after the armaments branch was sold to Arsenal de Helion. It was was founded in Deims in 2210, to assist farmers developing land in inland Tondola. Given that the conditions in Tondola are often much more varied and difficult than in the rest of Kanjor, ERAK Machinerie needed to develop products that could withstand the harsher conditions in order to develop a market share. The durability and reliability of ERAK products caught on soon spreading to other areas of the nation, especially the agricultural region of Vagderra.

The EHI m370 trains have become icons of the RNIT network.

In the mid-2150s, ERAK Machinerie expanded its operations to building heavy machinery and machine parts for both foreign and domestic factories as well as agricultural equipment such as tractors and combine harvesters. Many of Kanjor's factories are filled with ERAK equipment, and the role ERAK has had in developing Kanjor's industrial sectors cannot be understated.

ERAK Machinerie began to develop trains and other rolling stock in the beginning of the 2320s, and has now developed three highly successful designs for modern use. Two are currently in service with RNIT

The first is the EHI m370 train, which is the backbone of the RNIT network and one of the most modern and innovative trains in Kanjor. Rather than spend the excessive amounts needed to re-track all of Kanjor with high-speed railways with tilted corners, engineers at ERAK Machinerie developed a tilting train, which would allow the trains to turn at high speed on conventional rails, at speeds up to 220km/h.

The second vehicle in service with RNIT is the EHI LT m373 tram. The EHI LT m373 tram is 32 meters long, and features air-conditioning, cameras inside and outside (instead of rear view mirrors) and 43 computers. It can accommodate up to 202 passengers with a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Designed for urban usage, the m373 trams are also finding their way onto suburban tracks. An upgrade will be necessary, however, if this usage is to continue, as the m373s cannot reach high enough speeds for efficient suburban transport.

[edit] ERAK Automotive

L'Avant is one of the most popular new cars in Kanjor

Founded in 2366, ERAK Automotive is the newest branch and smalleset of EHI's manufacturing program meant to counter AutoSeleya; Kanjor's primary car manufacturer. Thus far, it has found it difficult to break into the Kanjorien automobile market but has found success in the foreign markets of Seleya with good press surrounding its L'Avant compact small family cars, La Flèche large family cars, and L'Aventurier multi-purpose vehicles. These vehicles were cited by Magazine Automobile to have "excellent handling, mileage ... very strong and sturdy construction as well as a range of luxury add-ons."

ERAK's bus and truck manufacture was transferred from ERAK Machinery to ERAK Automotive after its foundation. ERAK buses and specialty trucks can be found all across southern Seleya.

[edit] ERAK Transport Maritime

All the ships in the Marine Royale are of ERAK make and design. In addition, most of the ferries that service Kanjor across the Sovalt Channel are of ERAK Transport Maritime origin.

[edit] Future of EIL

Erak hopes, like many Kanjoran countries, to expand its products into the Terran market like never before. Markets in Rildanor, Alduria and Indrala are also being explored as part of a new marketing strategy.
