His Imperial and Most Illustrious Lutheran Majesty, Defender of the Faith, by the Grace of God, Emperor Ferdinand I of Hulstria (b. March 4, 2485-November 10, 2559) was Emperor of Hulstria from 2551 to 2559 and during the period of Dual Monarchy, was the last heir to the Hulstrian Throne. Following the fall of the Dual Monarchy, he fled with the rest of his family to Luthor. Following the death of his father, Emperor Rudolph IV of Hulstria, Ferdinand became the head of the House of Rothingren-Traugott; While in Luthor he continued his father's quest to be crowned Holy Luthori Emperor as was his hereditary and legal right under Luthori Law. In 2551, the KHP with the aid of the other parties in the Diet, reestablished the Monarchy in Hulstria, it's 3rd restoration. Ferdinand was coronated Hulstria Emperor and once again hope arose that the Luthori and Hulstrian crowns would be united. However it never came to pass in Ferdinand's life time and Luthori grew closer to Alduria having married Mary, Queen of the Luthori, the daughter of William III, Holy Luthori Emperor the former Imperial Viceroy who was then crowned Holy Luthori Emperor, to Philippe II of Alduria.
