The Taeyang Light Palace (太陽明宮), originally known as the Shining Sun Palace(빛나는 해 宮殿), was a building complex that once served as the former royal residence of the Imperial House of Taeyang. The palace ruins are located in Taeyangsudo, today's Taeyang, the imperial capital of the Grand Imperial Union of Dankuk. Today the palace ruins serve as a museum under the patronage of the local municipal government of the Taedo Metropolitan Area.

At the time of it's construction in the year 4366, palace was among the largest in the world; home to a Grand Library that housed many important documents. In addition to various amenties like pagodas and atriums, the largest gardens in Dovani, the Haebit Arboretum, were also present at the palace. Overlooking the palace to the south were the Changcheong Mountains, covered with Snowcapped peaks in the distance with streams and rivers flowing around.

Due to neglect and financial hardship, the Taeyang Light Palace has since fallen on hard times. Most notably, the communist government. The DNWA fascist dictatorship additionally stripped more of the palace to sell in illegal artifact trades. Unlike Beonyeonggung Palace, which is continually maintained and still houses the royal House of Baek, there is no extant remnant of the former House of Hwangje to do the same for the palace.

Today, of the sixty two gargantuan buildings that once comprised the complex, only 8 minor ones remain. The current grounds are maintained as a museum.
