The Alsi Rebellions, sometimes called the Forgotten Insurgency, is an ongoing event that began in 3272 shortly after the nation achieved independence from the East Terra Company in 3271.

Background

Many in the sparsely populated and ethnically distinct north of Talmoria expected an independent Republic. This dissatisfaction over the new government led some Alsis in Northern Talmoria to rebel in 3272. This rebellion was contained as the military response of the new Talmorian government was swift and harsh.

Currently the military of Talmoria has captured the Bindura Region. The military occupation under Minister Alfredo Filipe, has left deep resentment in much of the northern population, due to deaths, torture and imprisonment of suspected rebels. The area is currently a source of conflict between the government and natives of Talmoria.

Rebellion

The First Rebellion (3272 - 3281)

The rising began in 3272 when Alsi separatists attacked government buildings around Bindrua in the city Great Lakes. The Talmorian Army under the command of Alfredo Filipe, was sent by Emperor Alberto Lorenzo to contain the rebellion, led to a full-blown rebellion. The conflict died down after Alfredo Filipe overthrew Alberto Lorenzo and formed a new government in 3281. [Alfredo Filipe]] created a new self-governing region, the Bindura Region, and provided for greater Asli cleansing through genocide.
