Jelbanian Emperor Steven Patrick Kennedy X (2735-) was born into the chaos that was the Second Japanese Invasion of Jelbania. At age 4, he was made Prince of Perimor and heir to the Jelbanian throne after his father Steven P. Kennedy IX. His birth was seen by many political observers as a return to French Royalty by virtue of his French mother Lois Le Grande Kennedy. In 2812, Kennedy became Emperor of Jelbania at the age of 77. Most Jelbanian Royalist believe Kennedy to be a transitional leader.

Family Rift

Upon realizing the increasing power of the Korasu Family in Jelbania, Steven P. Kennedy IX bowed to royal pressure and married Lois Le Grande, a French noblewoman. The Korasu family was stun by the marriage and feared it would significantly reduce their influence in Jelbania. Kennedy reassured the Korasu Family of their dominance in domestic affairs, but it became clear that the Japanese reign over Jelbania was beginning to erode. The birth of Steven P. Kennedy X was seen as a victory to the French Royalists who were competing with the Japanese for power.

Prince of Perimor

As the Prince of Perimor, Steven P. Kennedy X would throw expensive parties for his guests at his mansion, challenge political foes to duels, and was an avid fan of sailing off the coast of Rilmos. The Prince would often manipulate banks in order to ruin his domestic enemies and was known to play the stock market to his advantage. Although the French rejoiced at his birth, Kennedy would often reward based on merit instead of noble birth.

Jelbanian Emperor

Kennedy finally ascended to the throne at the age of 77 in 2812 upon the death of his father. Considered to be a transitional figure for his son, Steven P. Kennedy XI, his coronation was peaceful and without incident. A lame duck Emperor, many political observers believe Kennedy will rule similar to his father before him.
