James Rudolph Washington was born in the suburbs of Winston on 9 December 2720, as eldest son of doctor Robert Washington and Ellen Diefenbaker
After receiving a degree in law in 2742 from the University of Ultran, one of the country's most prestigious universities, he began working at the Rutanian Savings Bank.
Banking career[]
Washington as Director General of the Northern Alorian Bank, 2757
He worked for the Rutanian Savings Bank for five years, he was called to work in the central administration of the Northern Alorian Bank, where he became Secretary General in 2752, Vice Director General in 2755, and Director General in 2756.
In November 2759, he was nominated Governor of the Bank of Aloria, a position he filled until 2763. Washington was just 39 years old when he became governor of the central bank, making him the youngest governor in history. His tenure at the Alorian national bank was marked by caution and reserve. Under his direction, the Alorian alorik was linked to the Rutanian ruta, and this benefited the Alorian economy, owing to the strength of the Rutanian currency.
