Fortmix Energy (FME) is the flagship of the economy of Kanjor given that FME is the biggest corporation in the country and is ranked in the top 25 on the continent of Seleya. FME is a private corporation but the national and regional governments hold significant shares; albeit, just like all other major corporations in Kanjor it has shifted between nationalization and privatization depending upon the current government. FME consistently makes a large profit for it and its stockholders; with 2,000,000,000 KRP in profit per annum during the last decade and it has many small investments in global energy companies.

[edit] Fortmix Industries
FME holds exclusive drilling rights to nearly 80% of Kanjor's natural gas reserves and maintains sole drilling rights to the small oil fields in the Sovalt Channel. FME provides the electrical power for 100% of the population of Kanjor; provided 70% of natural gas used in Kanjorien automobiles and uses its drilled oil to provide roughly 20% of the petroleum used in petrol-powered Kanjorien automobiles which have become more prevalent since the exhaustion of the Kanjorien natural gas reserves in the early 2500s.
[edit] Natural Gas
Kanjor had significant natural gas deposits in northern Tondola and off the coast in the Sovalt Channel. These fields provided FME with most of its profit until they dwindled considerably in the early 2500s.

In the 2350s, small oil fields were found in the Sovalt Channel off the coast of the regions of Sovalt and Yewao as well as onshore near Bayonville. This led to a large drop in petrol prices in Kanjor, though many Kanjoriens used natural gas for their vehicles. Roughly 70% of the oil is used domestically while the remaining 30% go exclusively to Rildanor.

Due to the loss of the majority of the natural gas fields, FME has branched out to operating three windmill farms in the Sovalt Channel and has recently begun expanding this operation.
[edit] Geothermal
FME has developed one geothermal power plant, near the mountains of Soulon. The dry steam plant takes steam out of fractures in the ground and uses it to directly drive a turbine that spins a generator. The condensed steam and remaining geothermal fluid from all three types of plants are injected back into the hot rock to pick up more heat.
