The French are a large ethnic group found mostly in the nations of Alduria, Indrala, Kanjor, Mordusia, and Rildanor in southern Seleya. There is also a small community of ethnic French in Lourenne.
The group overall is termed Française along with its partner language; however to distinguish between the different French cultural groups in the nations the term Française is often connected through a hyphen to the name of a citizen of that particular nation. For example: Française-Kanjorien in Kanjor, Française-Rildanoriennes in Rildanor or Française-Lourennois in Lourenne.
The French are racially caucasian and are usually associated with darker features, such as hair and eye colors. There are few racial differences between the groups of French peoples, although Kanjoriens generally have lighter complexions than their Rildanorien and Aldurien cousins due to their long history of settlement and climactical effects of cold ocean currents running through the Sovalt Channel which bring with them many cloudy and overcast days.
