His Imperial and Most Illustrious Lutheran Majesty Emperor Godric I of Hulstria (b. April 6, 2549, d. February 15, 2606) of the Rothingren-Traugott Dynasty was the third Kaiser of Hulstria during the second period of Hulstrian Imperial rule. He assumed the throne upon the death of his father, Klemens II in 2593. His reign was marked by end of the period of staunch reactionaryism within the Imperial Court that defined his father's reign. Godric I was noted to have also actively sought to ease relations between the Hulstrian Imperial Monarchy and the Imperial Houses of Villayn and Orange, which he did successfully. It was his son, Crown Prince Rudolph, who married Josephine, the daughter of Philippe III of Alduria and I of Luthor. This marriage successfully ended the competing claims between the Hulstrian line and the House of Orange over the Luthori Throne and united the third Great Imperial Crowns of Terra. Godric I tragically died in a car crash on February 15, 2606, when his limo driver lost control on an icy road outside of Kien, crashing into a tree killing both of them instantly.
