The House of Flieder is one of the oldest noble lines in the Imperial Crownlands of Greater Hulstria and cadet branch of the House of Rothingren-Traugott; the current head of the House of Flider is Niklas von Flieder, a descendant of Ferdinand I of Hulstria through his only daughter, Archduchess Augusta, and as such is 25th in line of succession to the Hulstrian throne. The line was established when Ferdinand I granted his infant nephew Kyril, the title Duke of Flieder at his christening. The Flieders have a long history of being involved in political affairs, often associating themselves with the Imperial Hulstrian Party.
