The House of Strauss is the one of the oldest and most powerful noble families in the Imperial Crownlands of Greater Hulstria. The Family along with the majority of the other Hulstrian Noble Families seek to achieve political goals through political means, using their political arm the, Imperial Hulstrian Party. The Strausses are traditionally Dukes of Straussia.
[edit] Palace on the Krux
(Hulstrian: Schloss Krux)
The Imperial Palace on the Krux is the traditional home of the Strausses. It was one of the first castles to be built in the Luthori Colonies that now comprize Greater Hulstria. The Palace is located just outside of Kien overlooking the small village of Neuehohen. It was returned to the family by the secret order of Philip Strauss while Comrade Premier during the brief lull during the Communist Regime.
[edit] Hulstrian Shipping International
Hulstrian Shipping International is one of Terra's largest shipping companies, headquartered Anderinch, Kuratha, Greater Hulstria. The company was founded in 2039 by Franz Strauss. It has since been overseen as a family company by his descendents. It transports good and materials to and from almost early nation on Terra, earning a gross profit of over a billion Hulstrian Crowns a year. HSI's drydocks are in Luthorische Bai and Anderinch, and is known for only using Hulstrian Steel in the construction of its ships. The exception to this is when it was forced to relocate over seas to Ostgrad, Mordusia. It then begin using private shipyards in Mordusia, and used imported steel as the Communist Government of Gishoto refused to allow them to purchase Hulstrian Steel.
