The Province of Kaap (Duntrekaans: Provinsie van Kaap) is a province of the Republic of Saridan found on the eastern coast of the mainland. The province mostly consists of the distinctive peninsula which is called die Kaap or the "Cape", which is how the province got its name. However, many locals tend to refer to the Cape as die Elmboog or the "Elbow.". The capital of Saridan, Walvisplek is also the capital of the State of Kaap.
