The Kirlawan-Dorvish Border War was a military conflict in northern Uwakah, Kirlawa, which began in 2333.

The first stirrings of trouble in northern Artania began in 2332, following the snap elections in Dorvik. Tekno Kratt of the Green Freedom Party criticised the rightist government for breaking off relations with Deltaria. The government retaliated, and the country nearly fell into violence, after the murder of Jacqueline McGuinty of the opposition Liberal-Socialist Party of Dorvik. After the then-leftist government of Kirlawa showed support for the Dorvish opposition, the rightist Dorvish government stepped up patrols along the Miktar-Uwakah border.
After the Kirlawa Far Right National Fascist Front gained power in Kirlawa, the now-opposition left formed various militia factions especially in Uwakah. (See also Kirlawan Civil War) By late 2333, the Dorvish military had moved across the border into Uwakah and was suppressing Liberty Brigade-linked rebels in Mygee and the surrounding areas. Meanwhile, Selucian forces joined Dorvik in the area, and joint groups captured Takana.
In early 2334, Dorvik and Selucia stopped their advance into northern Uwakah, but remained in control of the cities of Mygee and Takana. Things remained relatively calm until February of 2336, when the Dorvish government declared open support for the KFRNFF in the Kirlawan Civil War. There is no news yet as to the effects on either war.
In the year 2336 Dorvik formed the Polizei-Grenadier-Bataillon 506 and the Uwakah Gebirgsjäger-Brigade 1 out of Kirlawans volunteers to patrol Dorvish-Uwakah and fight possible partisan groups. Meanwhile a ceasefire conference is held in a neutral country to find a solution to bring peace back to Kirlawa. Selucia stopped sending of more troops to the region but the 5. Panzergrenadierdivision and 2. SS-Panzerdivision "The Empire", which came in exchange for the 2. Fallschirmjägerdivision, are still in Uwakah to support the Dorvish security mission there.
[edit] Peace Talks
The status of Dorvish-Uwakah was an important factor in the Peace Talks for the Kirlawan Civil War. Dorvish-Uwakah became a Dorvish protectorate; however, the Kirlawan Fascists held out for gradual reintegration. In the 2337 elections, the RPP Hoopenists were the only party that stood, and they won complete control of the mini-nation with support from the Dorvish government.
Since that time, Dorvish-Uwakah was reintegrated into the Free Union of Kirlawa and then into reunited Kirlawa.
