The Conservative Party (Dundorfian: Konservative Partei), officially the Conservative & Unionist Party, is a centre-right political party in the Federal Republic of Narikaton & Darnussia.
The Konservative Partei was founded on the 11th July 4178, after the majority victory of the Thalleristische Einheitspartei Alliance. The KP sought to be an alternative to far-right nationalism and left wing communism.
After the initial Konservative Partei leadership election, 4178, David Wehrmann, the victor, assumed office as leader of the Konservative Partei. He later appointed a shadow cabinet, in which he seeked to include gender balance and inclusion of ethnic minorities. In his initial term as leader, David Wehrmann sought to modernise politics.
The Conservative Party is a centre-right political party, with commitments to unionism, economic liberalism and conservatism.
- Improve quality and standard of living among all social classes
- Create a dynamic economy, where thriving businesses create jobs, wealth and opportunity
- Build a strong society, where our families, our communities and our nation create secure foundations on which people can build their lives
- Devise a plan for a sustainable environment, where we enhance the beauty of our surroundings and protect the future of the planet
Factions within the Conservative Party often adopt different variations of key conservative values and principles, commonly in different regions and counties.
"We understand the limitations of government, but are not limited in our aspirations for government."
See Leader of the Conservative Party, for list of party leaders
The leader of the Konservative Partei is the most senior politician within the Konservative Partei in the Federal Republic of Narikaton & Darnussia.
The party leader is elected using the multiple-round system where the parliamentary party votes, each round eliminating the candidate with the lowest amount of votes until there is just two candidates remaining, from there the leadership is determined by party membership; whomever receives the highest percentage of votes wins and become leader of the Konservative Partei.
