The Leader of the Conservative Party is the most senior politician within the Federal Republic of Narikaton and Darnussia. The post is currently held by Marc Flugel, who succeeded Anna Soubrie in September 4217 after twelve years in office as leader.
The position was originally held by David Wehrmann after he founded the party in July 4178. Since the party's founding, there has been five leaders; including the incumbent. Rules on leadership does not include being a member of the Bundestag, although all leaders after the 4181 General Election have been successful in becoming a member of the nation's legislature.
