Maximilian Berleburg (b. December 27th, 2985 - d. July 25th, 2954) was the 54th Governor-General of Greater Hulstria.

From 3044 to 3052 Bereleburg served as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Greater Hulstria and from 3032 to 3044 he served as the Minister of Trade & Industry of Greater Hulstria. A ranking member of the Faschistische Gewalt-Partei, Berleburg prior to national government served as its President of the Hulstrian Crownland branch. Berleburg prior to politics and business school, he served in the Hulstrian Imperial Army, and held the rank of Captain.

In late spring of 3054 Maximilian Berleburg unexpectedly experienced a severe stroke at his private residence in Kien which left him incapacitated and severely weak. The Imperial Diet act to replace Berleburg with an acting Governor-General to ensure the rest of his term was completed in an emergency session and gave the power to appoint a new Governor-General to the monarchy, with elections to elect a new Governor-General being positioned for March of 3055. Eduard von Strauss was appointed by the Kaiser and approved the Imperial Diet, succeeding Berleburg in June of 3054. Maximilian Berleburg would die a month later at the Kien Imperial Military Hospital from complications of the stroke and was given a full military funeral.

While only serving for two years as 54th Governor-General, Berleburg had been in government for over two decades. Widely looked upon as a grandfather figure by the people, Berleburg is noted for his reforms within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and expansion of the colonial police force within the Hulstrian Empire.
