Pierre Etienne was a Premier Ministre of Kanjor. He was also the founder of the Parti Pour Paix et Progress and its leader for over three decades. Absolutely nothing is known about Pierre's personal life and history as he has never even been seen in public. All affairs of state conducted by this incredibly strange prime minister were conducted through an audio line in the Sénat.

[edit] Controversy

Kanjor's situation of having a head of government that no one had ever seen obviously has sparked a lot of criticism. It's been speculated that there was no way of knowing whether Pierre Etienne fulfilled age or citizenship requirements for his post or even whether he wasn't multiple people. His voice however always remained the same- calm and confident, and seemingly unconcerned about any such trivialities as not being around in person. Whenever asked why he completely refused to be seen, Pierre replied that his arrangement breaks barriers that have always defined politicians and that the way he looks or even that he has "looks" doesn't matter; it's the ideas and actions that he propagates that people should be concerned with.

[edit] Last Years of Leadership

(Taken from the PPPP page) For most of the 70's, Pierre was both the PPPP's candidate for president and for the premiership. When he was still unable to become president in 2477, Pierre quite surprisingly announced a sudden retirement from political leadership. As the founding father of the PPPP, he served as its leader without interruption for 34 years and although none of his constituents ever saw his face he will be dearly remembered.

The time and circumstances of Pierre Etienne's death, of course, are unknown, but in the PPPP the amazing idea of Pierre Etienne will always live on.
