The Red Stad Communist Front was a far-left political party in pre-war Darnussia, and the leaders of the People's Republic of Darnussia. When the Second Darnussian Civil War began, the party found themselves in complete control of Darnussia. After the war, they became the much smaller New Social Democratic Party of Darnussia, but they were illegalised after the rise of the Narikaton Empire. They're modern equivelant are believed to be the Communist Party of Darnussia, the largest party in Darnussia.
History[]
The party was founded in 2576 after Norman Lee Lanzalotta took control of the Green Darnussian Socialist Party, and turned it into a Stalinist organisation, with its main goal to prevent the breakup of Darnussia. They gained many seats after the election, and by 2584, they made up the official opposition.
When they managed to push through legislation that changed the national motto into Darnus, the language of the mainland, a surge of Narik nationalism erupted, that resulted in the Narik decleration of independece, along with Shirmania on 21 March 2585. This was supported by the parties of the right, who quickly left Darnussia for the new state of Imperial Narikaton.
By March 22nd, the RSCF and the New-Revolutionary Communist Party (NRCP) were the two largest parties left in Darnussia. On the 23rd, Lanzalotta chose a cabinet, with himself at the head, and the new cabinet elected him "Temperary Head of State". They requested a report on the military situation, that arrived on the 25th. Two-thirds of the Darnussian Navy were in Imperial hands, along with half of the army and three-quarters of the air force. There were, however, around 700,000 heavily armed and trained communist paramilitaries who declared they would fight for Lanzalotta in the event of war, along with the Civil Guard, the elite group of soldiers who remained loyal.
On the 24th, Lanzalotta declared the Darnussian Democratic Republic defunct. In its place was the People's Republic of Darnussia, a socialist state were only the RSCF, the NRCP and the Social Democrats were legal opposition. This quickly promted the Social Democrats to leave Darnussia for Narikaton too.
On the 26 of March 2585, the People's Republic of Darnussia delcared war on "the Narik Nationalist rebels", in other words, Imperia Narikaton.

The party was under the leadership of Norman Lee Lanzalotta, a formor member of the New-Revolutionary Communist Party (NRCP). He changed the name and the ideology of the party. He was known to be a strong Stalinist.
