The Solentian Information Transfer Protocol is an Internet protocol designed as a Solentian intranet accessible to other nations. In Solentia, however, it is the only permitted method of Internet access. It is strictly moderated by the Government. It is a primarily Nuncirist project. It has been accused of harboring innacuracies and brainwashing Solentians (See Website Controversy).
There have been several attempts to breach the SITP firewall to allow foreign and opposition pages; one successful breacher has been Radio Free Terra, which broadcasts live on its website using proxy servers. Even with proxy servers, however, access is spotty at best.
