Zelotes Siskos (January 7, 4316) is a Selucian politician and scientific researcher who represents the region of Insularia in the Senate. He is the 12th Leader of the party In Marea-Civis Sinistram, succeeding Athena Gavrus, and former Minister of Science and Technology.
Before politics and early time[]
Siskos was born in Naylor-Marius, Insularia, where his father was stationed as an officer of the Insularian Army. His paternal side hailed from Nowogard in Valruzia. His mother Maira Diccea, a housewife, raised him and his elder sister Hadriana; the family moved according to his father's jobs. Eventually, the family moved to capital Victoria, after his mother had gained a post there. Siskos attended Ninth Victoria Gymnasium, subsequently enrolling at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Biology, graduating in 4338, after starting university being 16 years old due to his intellectual capacities. During his university days he developed an interest in politics. He moved two years to Istalia, where he became proficient in Istalian, before being called to join the Loukas' Cabinet as Minister of Science and Technology.
Deputy and Minister[]
He joined In Marea-Civis Sinistram in 4341, gaining his seat in the chamber of Insularia in the 4342 elections, when he had to flew from Istalia where he was living to join the Loukas' cabinet as Minister of Science, due to his perfect scores at University and researchs done during his time in Istalia. During his time as Minister of Selucia, he managed to increase the spending in his area, and focused on the research of rare diseases.
Leader of In Marea[]
After the resign of Athena Gavrus following the result of the 4366 elections, he decided to take a step up and proposed himself as candidate for the position. He gained immediate support from the Secretary of the party, Argos Loukas, and the regional leaders of the party soon joined him.
Consul of Selucia[]
In 4370, he was successfully elected as new Head of State of Selucia, defeating the candidate of Legionem Nationis.
He had to call for a Cabinet of the Consul after the 4400 Selucian political crisis. Following this cabinet formation, he was accused by some members of its party of betraying Atia Vinicia Gryllus, forcing her to resign and pushing for a right-wing government, attitudes denied by him but, after major criticism increased, specially coming from the Praetors of Insularia and Oriensos about breaching the general consensus between Secretary and Leader of the party, he announced his intention to retire and not attempt for another term.
In 4401 however, he was rewarded with the Selucian Golden Medal for his management of the crisis.
