History Edit

The Council of Nuzria was established around the 230s controlling today's Tirkalara and North Bandorra. The people called themselves Zumans and the Nation is referred to as Zuma in foreign sources. The council consisted of 15 representatives from each of the seven Zuman districts. The nation remained independent, though disagreement and foreign pressure, until a civil war broke out in 1911. The Valruzians exploited the situation and quickly gained control of the nation and replaced the council with a queen (see the House of Tirkalara).

Zidqan and the southern part of Mowqan was most brutishly colonized. There are said that over 200 000 Zumans was slaugthered to make room for the Valonians. The only Valonians who came further into Zuma was the aristocrats sent to manage the land by the Emperor. Today only 7% of the Zidqan population is Zuman, but many descendants of refugees from Zidqan live in Nuzria. These people have been known to support militant separatism and join groups like the Zuman Independence Party or the Titoists in some elections.

Due to division the independence issue was not raised until Almhod Tito started the Eccentric Farmer List in the 1970s. He soon fell victim of a government bullet but the dream of an independent Zuma still lives through the Titoistic Communist Party. Another separatist group calling themselves the Titoists have commited terrorist acts since Tito's death. The TCP denies that there are any links between this group and their party.

In 2325 the reign was taken away from the House of Tirkalara and given to the ancient house of Zuma-Trondheim. (See Zuman Coup)

The actual king is King Lars XIV of Zuma-Trondheim.

Again in 2552, a party which was admittedly a plant for Likatonia, the Zuma for Likatonia Party, tried to pass proposals allowing for Zuman independence along with it joining Likatonia. Likatonia also threatened war over the clash, but was distracted by war with Lodamun, which prompted the ruling party of Likatonia to back off of the threat. Oriana Sphinx-Muñozhe of the Left-Libertarian League is credited with playing a large part in averting the war by heightening Valruzia's militaristic policies during this time to try to persuade Likatonia against invading.
