Kyung-hee Imperial University (abbreviated KIU; Indralan: 慶熙帝國大學, transliteration: qìng xī dìguó dàxué) is a Indralan liberal arts university located in Yincheng, Jiaozhi Province. It has been closed under the communist rule of Mao Zheng in 5009 as part of his "non imperial reforms".
The university was opened on 12 April 4376 by then-Crown Prince Yinju, following an Imperial Edict issued on 13 June 4373 and ratified by the Grand Assembly on 21 August 4374 initiated construction of the institution. It is the first university to have been established during the Yu Dynasty under Emperor Sun Yijun. The Sun Clan personally donated $1b toward the construction effort. Various noble clans, including the Cheng Clan and the Lü Clan supported the effort, as well as private corporations such as Indralan National Petroleum, TQ Group, Indrala Fengyu and the FangCaiRyeo Group.
The Emperor of Indrala personally instructed that the University shall operate under the motto, "For the Common Good," and prioritize the acceptance of women from low-income families. Residences are provided to the students for free at the expense of the Imperial Household.
The namesake of the university is Ryeo Kyunghee, Emperor Yijun's mother. Ryeo's favourite flower, a hydrangea, is used as the logo.
